Before you brew anything in your coffee pod machine, we recommend ensuring your machine has been recently descaled to ensure that the brewing pressure is normal and to assist with optimal performance. To use your My-Cap My-Foil seals, follow the below instructions.


1. Beans and grind. The best espresso is always made with freshly roasted and ground coffee. We recommend buying your coffee from your favourite local cafe or roaster. Ask for your coffee beans to be ground to a consistency between fine and extra fine. When grinding coffee beans at home, we recommend burr grinders as they create a consistent grind with minimal dust.


2. Filling the capsule. Fill an empty Caffitaly, Lavazza A Modo Mio or Lavazza Blue capsule with coffee and tamp firmly. Give the edges of the capsule a brush to remove loose grinds. (Please note: We recommend 2 capsules per coffee for a stronger tasting brew.)


3. Sealing the capsule. Apply the My-Foil Seal to the top of the capsule, pressing gently but firmly around the edges.


4. Brewing. Place the capsule into the machine and close the handle. (Please note: To avoid additional holes being punctured, ensure the existing holes align during placement.) Brew and enjoy! Or if you want to fill in advance for convenience, simply store your sealed capsules in a cool, dark place.
