Recommended usage:
Caffenu® Eco Descaler contains 200mL - enough for 2 doses. Use one dose every 3-6 months to ensure your machine is in optimal working condition.
Note: The recommended usage may increase dependant on the water hardness in your area.
Method:
1. Empty 100mL (single dose) into the water tank of your machine, along with 500mL of water to create the descaling solution.
2. Place a large container under the brew spout and run approximately 200mL of the solution through the brew cycle into the container.
3. Run approximately 200mL of the solution through the steamer (if fitted) into the container.
4. Repeat directions 2. and 3. until the solution is used up, allowing the machine to sit for 5 minutes in between each run.
5. Empty and rinse water tank.
6. Rinse the machine by running a full tank of clean water through the machine (steps 2. and 3. with water only).
7. Finally, wipe the surrounding surfaces of the machine with a damp cloth.
Note: CaffeNu descaler can be used on any coffee machine, kettle and urn - please refer to the descaling instructions manual that came with your specific equipment.
